## Access and getting started

Read this guide without an account. Sign in to use the basic browser studio with adverts. DJ Pro is an optional upgrade; check the current upgrade page for its features and access terms.

## What you can do

### Mix between two browser decks

Load a track into each deck and set their levels. The crossfader changes the balance between deck A and deck B, letting you practise bringing one track in while the other fades out.

### Adjust tempo and EQ

Tempo controls change playback speed. Low, mid and high EQ controls change the balance of bass, middle and treble frequencies. Make one small adjustment at a time so you can hear its effect.

### Explore effects, waveforms and loops

Use waveform information and BPM analysis to help compare track timing. Try the available filters, echo, reverb, delay and loops while listening to the result; BPM analysis is a guide rather than a guarantee of a smooth mix.

### Prepare a first browser DJ session

Start with two tracks you have permission to use. Learn the deck level controls and crossfader before adding effects. If audio does not start, check the track is loaded, the levels are raised and your browser or device is not muted.

### Choose the music tool you need

DJ Studio is for mixing tracks. The music library is for discovering and listening to music, while AI music creation is a separate tool. Access conditions and rights to use a track depend on the source.

## How to start

1. Sign in to DJ Studio and load tracks you have permission to use into decks A and B.
2. Start one deck, check its playback level and leave the crossfader toward that deck.
3. Start the second track and practise a short transition using the crossfader; compare the timing by ear.
4. Try small tempo and EQ adjustments, then explore loops or effects once the basic transition is familiar.
5. Check each track's licence and the current studio features before recording or sharing a mix.

## Common questions

### What is a browser DJ studio?

A browser DJ studio provides music-mixing controls in a web browser. JASOTO includes two decks, a crossfader, tempo controls, EQ, filters, effects and loops, so you can practise transitions without installing a desktop DJ application.

### Can I use JASOTO DJ Studio for free?

Sign in with a free account to use the basic studio with adverts. DJ Pro is optional. Check the current upgrade page for paid features and access terms.

### Do I need to install a desktop DJ application?

No desktop DJ application is required for JASOTO DJ Studio. It runs in your browser, and available audio features depend on browser support, your device and your account access.

### How do I start mixing two tracks?

Load one track into each deck, check the playback levels and start the first track. Start the second track, listen to the timing and move the crossfader gradually between the decks. Practise the level changes before adding effects.

### Can I use any music in a mix?

Use tracks you have permission to use. Being able to load or listen to a track does not by itself give permission to record, publish or share it in a mix. Check the licence or permission for each source.

### Is DJ Studio the music library?

The music library is for discovering and listening to tracks. DJ Studio provides mixing controls; AI music creation is a separate tool.
